Your Voice for Arizona Small Business at the State Capitol
Your Voice for Arizona Small Business at the State Capitol
Associations exist to protect and advance the priorities of the businesses they represent. At ASBA, we often say we are the voice of small business, and this Tuesday, that voice will be heard at the Arizona State Capitol.
The Arizona Legislature is currently considering more than 1,300 bills, many of which could have either positive or negative impacts on small businesses across our state. This Tuesday, a particularly concerning bill will be heard that would require most Arizona businesses to accept cash for transactions under $100, with limited exceptions. You can review the bill text HERE.
ASBA will be representing you at the Capitol on Tuesday (1/27) and will testify in opposition to this bill. If you are able, you are welcome to join us in person. The House Commerce Committee will meet at 2:00 p.m.
If you cannot attend the hearing, we strongly encourage you to share your perspective by emailing members of the committee. Hearing directly from Arizona’s small business owners makes a meaningful difference. Committee members’ email addresses are listed below:

Sincerely,
