Agenda

9:00 - 9:30 am | Coffee & Networking

9:30 - 10:00 am | Introduction with the City of Prescott

10:00 - 11:00 am | Panel: Building a Business That Can Grow, Borrow, and Last

Financial health is about more than having money in the bank. It is about understanding your numbers, making informed decisions, preparing for growth, and building a business that supports both short-term stability and long-term goals.

This panel will bring together a small business owner, a financial advisor and former banker, and a small business consultant to discuss practical ways entrepreneurs can strengthen their financial foundation. The conversation may include cash flow, profitability, budgeting, separating business and personal finances, long-term planning, and knowing when a business is financially ready for growth.

Primary focus:
Helping business owners understand and improve their financial health so they are better prepared to grow, make decisions, and pursue opportunities.

11:00 - 12:00 pm | 'Emotional Intelligence for Small Business Owners: Preparing for Funding with Confidence and Clarity.' by Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University

Securing funding is about more than just numbers and paperwork. Many business owners struggle because fear, uncertainty, and lack of preparation impact how they communicate with lenders, organize documents, and present their business story.

In this session, participants will learn how to overcome common barriers to funding readiness, ask smarter questions, work more effectively with advisors and mentors, and navigate funding setbacks with greater confidence.

12:00 - 12:30 pm | Lunch Break

12:30 - 1:30 pm | Lunch & Learn Session on 'SBA Loan essentials, what you need to know!' by National Bank of Arizona

In this session you will hear from Chris, a Small Business Manager from National Bank of Arizona. This session provides a clear overview of SBA loans, including what they are, how they are used, and who may qualify. We will also cover the different types of SBA loan programs, what borrowers need to apply, and walk through the overall process so you know what to expect from start to finish.

1:30 pm | Roadshow Ends + Lender Meet & Greet Starts

The room will reset following the session, and the Lender Meet & Greet will begin shortly after. For more information regarding the Lender Meet & Greet, please see here.
