The U.S. Small Business Administration and Intel are hosting a Supplier Matchmaking Expo on Wednesday, July 29 from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM in Scottsdale, Arizona at the beautiful Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort, and we invite Arizona Small Business Association to participate.

The Supplier Matchmaking Expo aims to advance the Trump Administration’s Made in America Manufacturing Initiative and mission to strengthen U.S. supply chains, support small manufacturers, and improve economic resilience. We recognize your organization’s commitment to support American manufacturing and would like to give you the opportunity to meet 1:1 with American suppliers who also want to strengthen our domestic supply chains. These suppliers are eager to help reshore business operations, showcase their capabilities, reduce import dependence, and be considered for contracting opportunities.

The format of the Expo includes 1:1 matchmaking meetings between larger companies and small businesses (*think speed dating format) and an exhibit hall centered on “setting up success for tomorrow.” Companies are invited to participate in matchmaking, and/or host a booth in the exhibit hall with staff ready to connect with participants throughout the event, serve as a resource, and provide takeaway materials about their needs.

We recommend participation from the following roles within your organization:

• Contracting/Procurement officers: To participate in the scheduled one-on-one meetings with small suppliers, discuss requirements, and evaluate potential opportunities for contracting and partnerships. You can expect each small business participating to have a capability statement on hand. Additionally, these representatives can also host a booth in the exhibit hall for informal networking with suppliers. We recommend a minimum of two representatives to participate in both matchmaking and the exhibit hall.

• Government Affairs/Community Partners: To engage with exhibitors, federal agencies, and resource partners, and to leverage broader networking opportunities across the event.
